No matter how careful you are, the fats and sauces will splatter on the glass of the oven door, and then they will burn. A lot of people think that just a splash will make the glass dirty, but the cooking fumes, steam, and gases that built up inside the oven will coat the glass with grease.
To get a clear look inside the oven, you’ll need to keep the glass clean. However it’s not as easy as cleaning a window because there’s often a tough layer of burnt-in grease you need to tackle. From Junsky’s build-in oven, we’ll share some steps to clean the dirty oven door.
Making the Oven Pane Transparent Again
If the oven door is full of stains, you can use a self-cleaning system. Most premium integrated ovens and double ovens are equipped with this self-cleaning function, like Junsky 30 inch electric single wall oven Pro ES710TS. First, you should refer to the instruction. Remove the metal elements, which cannot be withstanding high temperatures, like drip tray and cookware. And remove any residue and crumbs from the oven before you start the self-cleaning program. When the program finished and the oven cool down, you can sweep out the dirt residues. But it likes to said, the glass will only be partially cleaned by this process and will require further manual cleaning.
Using Oven Glass Cleaner
There are some chemical cleaners specifically designed to clean oven glass. We also recommend you to mix sodium bicarbonate with water to form a paste. And then spread in the oven door for at least 12 hours. Pay attention not to rub with a metal sponge, which will scratch the glass.
Remove the Oven Door
The oven door of Junsky electric built-in oven is designed for removable use, which is convenient for you to clean deeply. Removed the door and open it. And then, find the clip and grasp the door by the side and pull it out. Use the washing-up liquid for cleaning.
The longer the oven left dirty, the harder it is to see inside and clean. However, it may develop unpleasant smells. Thus, it is important to clean the oven and wipe off spills with a sponge or damp cloth.
Choosing Junsky’s electric wall oven for easier cleaning!
