Domisa Treasury is uniquely positioned to be your trusted Cryptocurrency foreign exchange arbitrage provider. The South Africa-based company offers a client focused service to facilitate the exchange & quick movement of your South African Rand (ZAR) to your foreign cryptocurrency wallets in order for you to transact at these exchanges, such as Kraken and Bitstamp.
- They facilitate international payments to all recognised global cryptocurrency exchanges.
- They get you the best foreign exchange rates in the market on your foreign exchange deals & there are no hidden fees or commissions.
Domisa Treasury also provides same-day Foreign Exchange settlement at no additional cost to you, to ensure you do not miss out on these time sensitive arbitrage opportunities. All same day settlement requests need to be submitted to us by 10am so that we can transact your deal in the market prior to our banking partner’s cut-off for same day settlement.
Prior to your initial Crypto foreign exchange deal you are required to provide Domisa Treasury with the following:
- Proof of payment (POP) of your ZAR account funding
- Electronically sign a Crypto transaction declaration to ensure that compliance with SARB regulations and reporting is adhered to. This confirms the source of funds are your own & also includes a declaration that you are within your R1 million Single Discretionary Allowance (SDA) for the year or your R10 million allowance under the Individual Foreign Capital Allowance (FCA). In the case of the FCA you will need to provide us with your Tax Compliance Status (TCS) showing proof of your FCA approval.
From a regulatory perspective, the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) is aware of the crypto arbitrage trading by South African residents, however no specific regulations have been issued by the SARB in respect of crypto arbitrage as yet, however, Domisa Treasury believes that regulations will be published in the future. They will communicate any changes in our processes should things change.
