Jason Scott Jenkins is a
former football player and model, who is now an up-and-coming actor, and
although he is new to industry, he already played supporting and lead roles in
movies like Future Man and Jackals.
The cast of the
Future Man is filled with well-known actors as well as stars. The Hunger Games
star Josh Hutcherson plays the role of Josh Futturman, a world-ranked, who
dreams of being a gamer while working as a janitor to support himself. In a
strange turn of events, Josh the gamer is given the job of saving the world
from total extinction, after a super-race declares war on the human race. He
joins Future Man on his journey to save humanity from the evil aliens, and
teams up with Eliza Coupe and Derek Wilson, who play the enigmatic time
travelers Tiger and Wolf. Actor Jason Scott Jenkins plays a man called Karl, and he knows exactly how to perform
with that toughness and bravado that this action-packed role requires.
Jason played in another iconic horror and slasher film, where he takes
on the role of the leader, of a Satanic cult that brainwashes a young boy named
Justin Powell (played by Ben Sullivan). Home invasions are being used in new
movies a lot more, as they have become very popular in recent times due to the
Bryan Burtino’s 2008 film The Strangers. The Jackals is an interesting movie,
because unlike other horrors that offer cheap scares and endless paranormal
activity, this one is about a real cult and shows how there is nothing worse
than the power of brainwash. Once somebody’s mind is affected there is little or
nothing that can be done to change this person’s mind. Throughout the course of
the film, Jason’s role involves no
speaking, but as the leader of a cult of evil, his actions truly speak louder
than words, when he nods his head and puts his hands up. Before he kills one of
his victims, he pours gasoline on the person’s body, just before lighting them
up in flames and burning them alive. This lead role is very difficult to
portray since it doesn’t involve any dialogue and the villain’s face is never
shown on-screen.
