All the way from underground
club records to commercial radio hits, Nivan’s modern take on dance music
certainly stands out from the crowd. Although he might be new to the music industry,
the 18-year-old
artist strives for perfection in every single aspect of his music.
After falling deep into the
iconic melodies of Avicii and the Swedish House Mafia,
he finally knew what he wanted to do. He wanted to be able to tell stories and
express emotions through his music and make people… feel. Just like his idols
made him feel through their music.
Even though music production is
the only thing Nivan is truly passionate about, it
hasn’t always been a part of his life nor the culture of his origin. He has
always had enormous respect for doctors and engineers but never felt like he could
become one himself and genuinely enjoy it.
Studying was never anything
appealing to Nivan as a young teenager which lead him to take a more creative
path within the music industry. At the age of 13, Nivan got into ghost
production. Making music for others at the age of 13 was a very comfortable
spot for him since it was easy money and he didn't have to be the face of the
brand. As the years went by, Nivan felt like he wanted to be credited for his
work. He thought he had gained a lot of experience through ghost production and
even stumbled upon major league industry connections such as Swedish DJ
and music
producer Avicii and songwriter Albin Nedler. He finally felt that he
was ready to start his own artist project.
At the age of 17, Nivan was
signed to PRFKT/Moon Man Management and partnered with Universal Music Group.
On the 25th of October 2019, he shattered the norms and expectations of the
people around him with catchy melodies and groovy basslines with his brand-new
debut single “Chasing Love” and from this point and forth, there is nothing
that can hold him back.
